
EDWIN TORRES
Miami based percussionist, Edwin Torres, is
one of the most solicited musicians in the Latin Music Market.
Edwin was born in 1966 in Chicago to Puerto
Rican parents; he was musically influenced at an early age by his father and 4
older brothers. Edwin began playing
drums at the age of 3 and by the age of 5, he was performing for live audiences
along with his father and brothers.
He
has worked with artists like Celia Cruz, Rey Ruiz, Tito Puente Jr., Cachao, José
Alberto (El Canario), Jay Losada, Roberto Torres, Pedro Jesus, José Ernesto,
Charlie Cruz, Yomo Toro, Ismael Rivera Jr., Miles Pena, Anthony Cruz, Ismael
Miranda, Pete (El Conde) Rodríguez, Hector Tricoche, Frankie Negron, George
Lamont, Kevin Ceballo, Ley Alejandro, David Pabón, Lalo Rodríguez and many
others.
